New Study: EcoG® CRI 2025
Launching the 2025 edition of our Charging Reliability Index
EcoG published the second edition of the EcoG Charging Reliability Index (CRI), a benchmark study that evaluates how reliable electric vehicles (EV) charging interfaces are implemented and interact with CCS fast-charging infrastructure globally. The 2025 edition expands the scope by testing the 10 global EV platforms, focusing on 4 categories: Reliable Charging Initialization, Robust Charging Process, Error Recovery and User Information.

EcoG controllers are well-proven in the field. Already in the 5th generation, our controllers and boards stand for reliability and powerful performance enabling best-in-class charging solutions at global scale.
EcoG Charge Controller for compact chargers and dispensers
The SECC is our EV charge controller with a broad set of functionality. Core functionalities include charge automation, charge communication, OTA updates with backend subscription, in-field updates, configuration via web-browser and interactive engineering tools. CE-certified, the product provides a broad set of standard and protocol support.
It is ideal to be used in stand-alone charging stations and already used in more than 20 different product lines of EcoG customers.
EcoG emergency stop for compact chargers and dispensers
The CPPP is a hardware-only State Monitor for the charger. Its core functionality is the emergency stop fully implemented in hardware to ensure safe operations of charging stations fully compliance with regulatory requirements.
This way, it supports IEC 61851-1, IEC 61851-23, and SAE J1772 standards.
EcoG Application Board for compact chargers and dispensers
The application board represents the application layer interfacing with the user and cloud. It connects to charger screens, payment terminals or RFID card readers and provides user-oriented features resulting in competitive chargers that allows the use of
third-party services to run your own applications.
EcoG Charge controller for wallboxes
The SEIC combines the functionality of a charge controller with hardware monitoring and emergency shutdown.
It is designed for use in wallboxes with space constraints without having to compromise on performance and functionality. It is already tested and validated for advanced applications such as ISO 15118-20 bidirectional charging.
EcoG powerblock controller
The powerblock controller is the central control unit dedicated for a centralized powerblock with power modules and a switching matrix providing DC power to multiple dispensers.
It is able to communicate with multiple dispensers and manage power distribution with precision and efficiency.
